What do you use to clean the sensor and your lenses? I have a pack of lint free cloths and a blower but thought I'd see what people are using before I have a go.

At the moment it's more the lenses as I have a couple of bits on one of them but good to know how the sensor is done for the future. Also do you lot clean as preventative or just as and when you notice bits?

I use a blower and one of those lenspens that has a brush at one end and a velvet pad at the other. Don't know what I'll use on the sensor if I ever need to though, I think the manual says to just use a blower.

Hi - WarehouseExpress sell a kit for this exact purpose including special swabs & fluid - from what I've read don't think you're meant to touch the sensor with anything else (?) - There's a site called Cooper Hill Images which has a great "how to" guide (at work so can't post a link)

Digipads and Eclipse Fluid - worked a treat for cleaning the sensor. Read up a bit on this before cleaning the sensor though - the Copper Hill site is very good info.

This is the Copperhill sensor cleaning tutorial - I basically used this method with digipads and eclipse fluid direct from digipads. It took 2 pads to remove all the dustbunnies.

As for lens cleaning I mainly use a cleaning pen which I find a lot easier and quicker than using a cloth.
