Weeds

Some 'weeds' in the late evening sun at the edge of the hay field out the back of my house....

I'm very new to dslr photography and photoshop - so I have put in the original photo followed by my attempts at editing....am I heading in the right direction?? Cropped and tweaked some levels / colours.....

Thanks in advance.... Tanya

I really like the first two, in particular the first one which i find a lovely atmospheric shot.

Not too sure of the last two, the colours dont work for me. What were the settings used to take the shots, lenses etc?

welcome to the forum, I'm sure you'll find a lot of great help here. In my experience there all a great bunch

Thumbs up

Your first and second images do it for me also they are very very good, the last two don't look quite as striking. Good effort though screamingswifts, keep at it with photoshop.

Can I ask what you did with the last 2 images in PS?

Cheers - images 1 and 3 are the originals, just resized, and 2 and 4 are 1 and 3 after a bit of messing in photoshop.

In terms of what I did to the edited images... does photoshop keep a history of changes on files??...ermm...cropped a bit, played with the 'levels' and colour balance.

As I said this is all pretty new to me, so a steep learning curve at the mo. PmSonic - Is it the exif data you're after? if so.....
