Pentax DSLR

Do many members use Pentax DSLR,s, have seen a PENTAX *iST DL2 + 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 lens for £349.99, how does it compare to the Nikon / Canon brigade ?

At that price, it's a bargain. How well they compare is difficult to say, handling wise you have to try that for yourself. The controls are easy to use and image quality, especially noise seems to be good too.

*iST DL2 review

You could wait for the new K100D which includes in body image stabilisation. The camera will be available in the UK very soon.

I looked at this and for the price it is good, a little smaller than the 350d IIRC and has less focal points and resolution. I swayed to the 350d in the end for the higher spec for little extra cash. www.dpreview.com is a good review site.

Good kit for the money though
