Cheapo Camera for the hols...?

Saw the above on ebuyer , now thats got to be a cheap camera for hols or restricted budget .. Not the latest or greatest and cannot see a review anywhere , but would sure keep somes kids quiet..

Not everyone can afford 600 for a slr ..

Goodmans like Alba/Bush are the lowest priced consumer items you can buy...cheaply made usually in China and gradually filling landfill sites all over the world.
I agree the price is attractive but personally I'd rather add another 20-odd notes and get something with a better reputation in the photographic field.
BTW why would it be good for the hols?

Well

If the kids get it nick , buried in sand pit , exchange it for glass beads or stolen .. Drop it overboard.

Hardly going to break the bank ..

Agreed, but when I'm on holiday I want to take once in a lifetime pics of good quality so I'd look after it and make sure it's covered by insurance.
