Nikon D50 + Kit Lens - good price?

The Nikon D50 DSLR with Kit Lens can be bought from Currys (via their website - free delivery) for £363.80 - using the code on www.camerapricebusters.co.uk

Also the Canon EOS 350D for £465.89 using the same code.

This is the cheapest I can find these cameras. Has anyone seen them cheaper anywhere else?

Incidentally you can also get up to 10 months interest free credit on these deals from Currys.

Yup, definatly a good price on the D50. Tis about £15 cheaper than anywhere else I've seen it.

You could always try Jessops price match aswell. I brought a D70s with kit lense for £577 (Shop price £669) the other day because I price matched them against the cheapest net price and got 110% of the difference back. I also like the advantage of the price matching shops because if anything goes wrong it's quick and simple to get a replacement. Might be worth considering.

Oh and jessops are offering a Tamron 70-300 telephoto for £99.99 with any digital camera, even after price match. For £100 it's a good telephoto. Better than Nikon own brand 70-300 G lense, and only slightly inferior to the 70-300 D lense. Tis a bargin as a spare lense/reversed macro experiement/starter telephoto.

Happy hunting.

If you have an Egg credit card I think you can get 10% cashback by using the link on Egg's website.

Sorry folks the link should be www.camerapricebuster.co.uk

I accidentally put a rogue 's' on the end of pricebuster as Mark spotted.
