Basic help for a newbie

sorry if this has been asked before but I can't find it in searches

Anyway, i have a Vivicam 3930 which is fine for nearly all my needs. The one thing I am stuck with is whenever I transfer video to my pc I have a large header and footer imposed over the image. header= PICVideo and footer=www.jpg.com

I can't find anywhere in the menus to change this.

So, is there anything I can do or is this a "feature" of this particular camera (was going to ask Vivitar but they want 40p per minute to tell me!!)

After a quick google it looks like the header and footer are part of the software disclaimer. Have you registered the software? As this should get rid of the information.

If not then have a google for alternate software, I used the WinXP builtin software to rip my DVD's from video feeds.

Thanks, you were on the right lines which I have sorted after a bit more investigation. Apparently I had some demo software on my pc which when removed takes the text off.

Answers here for anyone interested
