Question Memory voltage - 400MHz DDR PC3200 - is 2.6V a problem when my motherboard says 2.5V?

I'm looking to add some memory to my PC, as it slows right down using image manipulation software with 512Mb RAM.

My motherboard is a PC Chips M848 (AMD K7) which supports 3 X DDR333 or 2 X DDR400 1Gb 2.5V memory modules, according to the manual.

Unfortunately, all the DDR400 memory I have seen says 2.6V or 2.7V. Would it cause me a problem if I fitted 2.6V memory? I'm specifically looking at a Kingston 2GB kit (CL3, 2.6V - the CL2 stuff is 2.7V) for £120 from eBuyer.

Cheers,
Liam

should be fine - you can adjust the voltage in the bios screen on most computers these days.

Most other memory states 2.55V - 2.8V check out corsair, geil value memory which should also be fine.
