ok got this camera... but the battery life is terrible.

any other camera for around £100?

you using normal AAs? They don't last in digital cameras. Get a set of NiMh rechargables - they'll last lots longer.

thats what im gonna have to do.... but this camera is known to eat up batteries like no tomorrow... do u know of any other nice cameras for around £100

An extract from Cameras.co.uk. Seems like a false economy to me (sub £100), but you pays your money etc . . . I also ran a selection choice for anything up to £100 and it offered these:

its a 5.1 megapixel camera

3x optical zoom and 5x digital zoom function. using both will offer a total zoom ratio of 15x

does this sound reasonable? im no good at this camera stuff
