My day out in Aberystwyth (56K warning)

Took my wife to Aberystwyth for the day yesterday.
It was really cold when we got there but warmed up a bit once the sun started shining.

First we went up constitution hill on the funicular. Great view from the top. We then spent a couple of hours on the seafront, ending up in the marina.

We then took the Prince of Wales steam train from the town centre up the Vale of Rheidol to Devil's Bridge Falls. Superb scenery all the way there. Highly recommended.

We then stopped off in Aberaeron before returning home.

Think my favorite is the 4th one posted and I like the composition of the 8th one

Thanks Pete. They were all taken with the 17-85IS.
I'm very happy with the lens, it's my choice of settings I need to concentrate on! The first two pics were from around 20 or so I took while on the funicular and up on constitution hill. Did I check the ISO settings? Did I heck! ISO 800 which was the last setting I used from the night before . I'm going to have to write "CHECK ISO" on the back of my hand every time I go out with my camera from now on

It is a very picturesqe little harbour. The last time I visited Aberaeron was about twenty years ago. Played in the seven-a-side rugby tournament. Don't remember much as we got knocked out early and I spent the rest of my time in the bar

I actually quite like the last one, like the pinkish house dead centre, seems to jump out at you

Also like 4 but not to keen on 8

Overall a good set of pics.
