RSMMC\SD memory card compatiblity??

This is a bit of a dual topic question:

I am looking to purchase the Canon A620, which uses SD cards, now the question is will it be able to use RSMMC? as I have a few 512mb's for my IMate Jam. Vice versa would I be Interested to know is I can use SD cards for my Imate Jam, when I burchase the SD cards for the Canno A620.

It may seem a bit silly as the devices are two diffrent spectrums, but I want to try and reduce the amount and various memory cards I carry aroud.

Thanks

You can use RS-MMC on an SD device providing you use the adaptor that comes with the card...

You can't use an SD card on a RS-MMC device, as it wouldn't fit.

I'm slightly confused as to why you're using RSMMC cards in the Jam, as it has a full size SD slot..... maybe you got a good deal on them i'm thinking?

But anyway, your Imate and Camera will BOTH take SD cards, and you would be best off buying full size SD cards as IMHO SD cards are quicker, more reliable, and sturdier.

Thanks for this info very helpful, I bought them in India for a fiver each. I thought they were the only ones I could use, I should have researched a bit more into this before splashing my cash or even read the manual properly . Anyhows thanks once again
