Awesome Stealth Fighter Capture.....

Just had to share this one, Stealth fighter of the 49th FW, 9th FS, 'Flying Knights' preforming its spectacular display. Obviously the skin of this F-117A has been repaired close to the insignia, which is partially not visible anymore.

Johndm - has your plane flown off the picture! All I see when I click the thumbnail is a blue rectangle

If you magnify it right up, you can just see the heat haze from the engines, I assume the pilot was in neutral when you took this shot?

Excellent work though, I applaud you patience in waiting for just the right moment to fire off the camera in all the excitement.

If I was you I would remove these images - The CIA can be very touchy about photographs of their top secret technology!!!!

As the caretaker says, just stare past it like one onf the magic picture things. It took me 3 hours before I saw the outline, and 15 cans of Stella

Well, I notice at the moment my 'stunning' capture has had over 220 views.

We all here obviously know a brilliant picture when we see one, and thank you all for your very kind comments.

I also have pictures of The Invisible Man to show you, RMS Titanic on Southampton Water (taken just last week), and a close up of Nessie..

Or would you all rather see some aircraft pictures?
