I bought one of these for my sister in law as a xmas presant. Great little camera and some members on here have got one due to mine and others recommendations and are really happy with it. Don't be put off by the fact that it's a refurb as it's good as new.

Looking for a cheapish point and shoot compact myself, are these Casio S100's still good value at £100 or are there other/better options around now?

If your ok with second user cameras, Jessops sell a complete range of used stuff, good thing is, they are cheap, top quality and covered by a guarantee. Look at their online site http://www.jessops.com/used/ if the camera is in another store, they will ship it to your local Jessops for you to look at, FOC with no obligation to buy. They also have a centralised used camera info line, 0845 458 7002. You need to know the camera you want though.
