Any quick release neck strap devices out there ?

I hate having the neck strap on the camera.

When ever I need to take a shot the strap always seems to get in the way so is there any quck release devices to allow you to quickly remove the neck strap and reattach it as required ?

If not my only thoughts are getting some of the strap material and making loops through the anchor points on the camera. Then making loops on the neck strap and linking the two sets of loops with mini carabiners.

The camera will have the hand strap on it anyway.

Any thoughts or suggestions ?

Thanks JT,

That is the kind of thing I was looking for. There are a few suppliers in the UK too.

Not too pricey either.

Cheers

I have received the Optech from Warehouse Express..went for the classic one. The strap is soooo much more comfortable than the Canon item, as it is made from neoprene and quite "stretchy".

The only negative that I would have is that the bits that connect to the camera are quite long, so you still have "danglies" hanging off the camera....

I ordered from camera err something......

Based in London. They also had a speedlight 580EX for £2xx rather than over £300 at most places.

If you go to optitec's site and click 'where to buy' -> international suppliers -> click UK flag and they are listed. THere are only 4 or 5 listed so it should be obvious.

Regards

Ok, maybe not but it was worth a try
