Question HELP! anyone with a Sony DSC-N1?

Hi,

Does anyone have a sony dsc-n1 that could tell me how theirs perform in indoors (low light but not dark) conditions?

Mine is performing great outdoors, but indoors I cannot use it as the LCD is far to dark and the resulting photo's have a yellowish tint to them.

(this is with the camera in auto mode, in program/manual it does improve things, but the wife gets confmused in these modes ).

Can you change your white balance? This will help a whole lot with the that yellowish tint you are getting, if you have regular light bulbs or lamps then use tungsten white balance (it SHOULD have this but i havent taken a look at the N1 yet) As for the LCD there isnt that much you can do other than pre-focus where it should use its lamp. This might help you see, but let it use the flash so you can at least review your photos. Shame this is a problem with cameras with no regular viewfinders as backup. Good luck!
