Best digital SLR 8.1 Megapixel camera

Can anybody tell me wats the best 8.1 Megapixel camera available for professional photography..

For serious pro work, none of them.

Alternatively, why is 8.1MP the main criteria? It's an odd question for a pro to pose.

I was wondering the same ...

What's your budget? What are you wanting to shoot? Do you have any lenses already? Have you got small hands? How much money have you got for new lenses? These are all valid questions when you pick through the DLSRs with 8mpx or more ...

I suppose to answer the question you could say the Canon EOS-1D Mark II N (allthough technically it's 8.2mp) but you'll be paying over £2000 for it.

Like the others have said, it's a bit of an odd question to ask (allthough I'm guessing the reason behind it might be for optimal A4 print sizes ) and you really need to give us more info regarding budget etc.
