Very nice Jamie, did you take the bride and groom with the 85? That's a really good image

Edit: I see it's the 50. Very good mate, they should be well happy with that

in preston there are really only 4 music venues

the mill - unsigned live music 2 nights a week, plus medium sized touring bands - where i normally shoot.
53 degrees - new student union venue, superb in everyway sound, lights etc, about the same size as manc academy, thats the first time ive seen a live band in there.
12bar - live music pub/venue - shoot there alot but the lighting is dreadful
adelphi - managed by a pratt, not good for photography at all.

mainly shoot at the mill though, lighting isnt that great but is manageable. my mate is the promoter there and i know the owners so i get passes for most stuff.

hehe im hoping my shots are on a parr with the proffesional photographer (£1000 for the day and didnt even do the cake cutting and speaches), he made soime glaringly obvious omissions from the photography, he failed to photograph the 2 young bridesmaids on there own and failed to turn any of the photos round to get the castle in the background. and he kept seeing me taking pictures of people and then posing them in exactly the same way as id canditly shot them (for example the youngest bridesmaid playing guitar on a bench...)

also in that shot of the scenery in the background.. he shot from my lefthand side and put them against a tree instead of the beautiful view

plus he kept having to stop for 5 minutes to change film......
