Hi

I'm sure this happens to loads of people, but I lost my cable for my Panasonic FX-7 digital camera, and am now stuck. Panasonic want £30 for a replacement which is very steep! Does anyone know where I can find a better deal with cables?

When you say cable do you mean the power cable?

no, sorry I should have said...the USB cable, that connects up to the computer.

Oh mate you can get them for a couple of quid, it's only a standard cable. Try maplins ect

It may well be a standard cable, but they're not all the same standard so best check which kind first. Agree with seany though couple of quid top whack.

Panasonic online have it here at £4.76 (not due until the 10th of this month) so I don't know where you got the 30quid from.
BTW I doubt it's a standard USB-USB cable.
Surely most digital cameras have a proprietary connector at the camera end?

It is a standard USB miniA to B. The mini A end comes in a few sizes but if you find the right one it will work.
