Sat at a bar behind Manchester cathedral on Sunday and a wedding started, so managed to get a few shots. The bride’s family had African routes and some really colourful dresses were there. Really nice change from the standard stuff you see. Even during a wedding you're allowed to go in the cathedral, i got a couple of shots in side during the service. My dinner came so i couldn't get any more

I like 065 best! The statue don't know why.

071 is quite good too but the focus is maybe not quite there.

Did you shoot RAW? Quite a few of the shots look too light to me with the highlights blown. Doubt I could have done as well while waiting for dinner to arrive.

The group shots have so much going on they are hard to look at - your eye has nowhere to settle.

I'm not shooting in Raw at the mo Rob. I think i've said before that if the majority of the shot is exposed well i have no problems with blown out parts, never really had the time i would have liked get a feel for the light, But i'm getting a light meter for sure so lots to learn.


I couldn't get a shot of the bride and groom on their own, it was pretty hetic, and my dinner came so they'd gone when i'd finished

I like 65 to, 71 i think i may have actually focused through the cross i'll check it later



Looked like the photographer was using a 17-40/16-35 and a 700-200 F2.8 IS
