the great british dustbunny challenge

this is like how clean is your house with out trinny or suzanna

okie dokey, what you have to do is set your appature as small as you can go (f22 etc) then take a picture of a white surface (dont worry about camera shake etc). then in photoshop hit "autolevels" and watch the bunnys appear!

then shrink the image and post on here so we can see who needs to wash behind there ears and who is a cleaning freak....

this is more of an Dslr challenge than a compact one, but compact users can join in if they want, whilst there sensors might be clean, we can all rest safe in the knowledge that we have have better glass and cameras than you and we'll all point and laugh...

heres mine - shes a mucky little harlott but she'll do anything you want if you point her in the right direction and fondle her correctly...

Ok for a sense of balance - 2 pictures

First one without autolevels - a white bathroom tile in not the best of light. Gives an idea of visible dust.

And then the same with autolevels

My sensor was spotless when I last cleaned it - just before I went to a wedding on 4th June. Not in need of cleaning yet.

edit: actually I took 2 shots at the same time and I seem to have posted one of each. Same principle...

I took a picture of a bit of white paper first and that had big mould like blobs after auto levels - scared me enough to go try the bathroom tile
