Iso 3200

This shot was in a bar in Edinburgh with very low ambiant lighting. pushed the iso way up to 3200

Thats not too shabby for an iso that high and seriously steaming at 1:30am

F1.4

This one i've just take to get a better idea of the noise levels at such a huge ISO

Of course it's going to be noisy at that ISO but it's amazing what you get out of it. Of course this was just a test for noise, it's at night or in dark venues where it's needed.

More impressed knowing it was taken at 1.30 and you were steaming

Don't know if you've ever used Neat Image Sean so I just ran the first shot through it and then sharpened after to see what effect it would have, hope you don't mind?
Nice comparison switching between the two to see what the differences are, the one I ran through Neat Image is certainly smoother, whether that appeals on a personal level is another story

I take my camera with me every time i go out, and people always think you're taking photos for the place you're in.

I don't go in yates

Had quite a few people ask me to take their photos and send it on to them. Which i always have. That's actually why i wanted primes as bars are my fav places to take photos

What bar was it? Bennets, Jinglin Geordie and the Canny Man were my student favourites.
