May Photo Competiton - Voting Here

Wow, 49 entries this month, thats incredible, thanks to all that have taken the time and patience to submit an entry.

Zone has again kindly done the thumbnail page which could make reviewing the pictures easier. The link is HERE Thanks again for your efforts Si.

Geordie Jester was the last entrant making up the total, just!!!!

I think that voting will be very close again this month, as there are some excellent entries, all on theme and all showing that the people entering are thinking more about the theme and entering 'different' shots.

Remember the winner gets a 10x8 print of the winning entry courtesy of the sponsors Fotoview.co.uk

Can't wait for next month!!

Voted for Mark Grant, one of the last entries and one of the ugliest, but the subject matter was never going to be a looker but it screams texture, wonderfully sharp with great colours, just keep quiet about Christmas

I'll second Zone's comments. Great lighting and capture brings out the texture excellently, just a good job beauty wasn't one of the parameters when chosing my winner. He sure is one ugly Turkey

My vote went to Zone. Couple of reasons - it is a really is a striking image and he always seems to take photos that almost win. You deserve to win this month Si! There were about 10 others that I could easily have voted for though.....

Tommy's 'Airbag' got my vote. There were some really good pictures out there, but to me, Tommy's represented the subject title best of all (a bit like 'Stars In There Eyes', voting for the best sound-a-like not the best singer)

Pete

I've voted for ~Kev H~

I think this is the best interpretation of the theme as well as being a superb photo. Well done!

Doh, no entry from me again this month.... Just back from the states yesterday so I've sort of got an excuse...

My vote goes for PDB99 - just like the texture, detail, colours and DOF.

Decided to go for Kev-H's Aero. Fantastic textures, really leap out- great shot. Only slight thing that stops it being perfect is the white section at the top-right. distracts the eye slightly.

There were some fab pictures this month A couple that were favourites, Zone's especially. But I went for Kev's choccie in the end Everytime I saw it I could taste it.. It really summed up the theme for me. Good pic mate

Went for Zones pic this month, lovely photo and the one I would most like as a print to hang on the wall.
Mark Grant was a close second for me, stunning pic but that turkey is just too ugly for a poster

Well done to all those that entered this month though, the standard of pictures just gets better every month
