Photoshop help please?

Can anyone please tell me how to make a circular crop in PS CS? I have a disc which I need to crop and can't seem to find the circular crop tool anywhere?

Press M to get the marquee tool, then right click to select the ellipse tool... should be able to get a pretty accurate disc...then cut/copy as required.

I've tried that and it's a bit faffy (if that's a word?)

PSP9 has a proper circle crop tool which starts at the centre. Unfortunately my 3 month trial has run out

Just had a go myself. In Elements 2. If you select the Marquee tool, then select the ellipse and then change the style box to Fixed Aspect Ratio and make sure it is Height 1, Width 1. The box is now circular.

Thanks for that Al, but how the heck do you get it fit the disc? In PSP9 you just start at the centre and draw it from there.

You need to use the modifier keys - in this case Alt and Shift.

Choose the eliptical marquee tool. Click on the centre of your disc image. Then (before dragging) hold down the Alt key and drag. This will draw from the centre. As you want a perfect circle you should also hold down the shift key as this constrains the shape to a circle. So click, ALT+SHIFT and drag.
