Blowing my trumpet....just a jpeg too!

Well I thought I'd share this with you my fine fellow Photogs......

From New Zealand...

John.

Yesterday I presented your photograph of the Twin Pioneer to Ron Tannock, Chairman of the Board Civil Aviation Authority New Zealand. The presentation was made in our Boardroom with the rest of the Board and the Director of Civil Aviation in attendance. He was thrilled with the gift.
I had it printed 12x18 and mounted in a wooden frame made of native NZ timber. Inscription read " Presented to Ron Tannock 30th March 2005 from your friends at the Christchurch Engine Centre. Photographer "John Myers"

Parmp parmp....

I don't know what i'm more impresed with, your photo or your guts for not cropping those socks out

Do you give your punters a set amount of photos and sizes Tomo?

Do offer like a package sort of thing or they just choose

Wow ... you must be about 200ft tall judging from that bridge you're standing next to.

Did you take the NZ presentation picture with your old 75-300?

Its just the socks make me look taller..

Yep, the picture of the aircraft was taken with the 75-300, but it was one good shot out of about ten that I took of that paticular plane.

Having played with my 100-400, i'd now expect to get say six or seven good ones out of ten with the 'L' beastie

The shot on Anet here..

There's More......

Another 'PARMP PARMP'....
But no dosh..

Hello-

I was wondering if you would mind me using your photo in a small presentation in a class of mine. We are doing a presentation on different wing types for our aviation class. It is a class made up of college aged kids and will be shown on in a Univeristy of Oklahoma classroom. The copyright data will be clearly visible, and the presentation will not be duplicated or sent out to anyone. If you have any questions or requests of me, please let me know. Thank you very much.

Jeff
