Has anyone else noticed how many entries there are already for this month's comp? It is only April 5 and there are already 20 entries I haven't even had a chance to think about my entry let alone take a photo!

This is excellent, just shows what a good comp it is.

It certainly seems to have taken off this month in a big way. I assume it's because most people will have a picture of a dog/cat/baby sleeping and thats an easy one to enter. It's a shame that there are so many archived shots though and so many on the same subject matter

I have a few idea on how to be a bit different this month and i know there are other members trying to think a little 'differently' so there should be some good shots to come!

yeah hopefully there'll be a few more inventive interpretations of the theme - time to don those thinking caps. My original idea for the theme (worn-out) was a little less specific - I wonder if that would have inspired more varied entries?

Besides, my cat has refused to pose for any more photos until i promise 50% of all royalties and exclusive resale rights. Our solicitors are currently in negotiations

20 entries, we need more variety though. Think we have enough dog/cats/children for this month

Archives

I'd urge everybody to wait until they maybe have time, or plan some time before banging an archive in. It's to get us all thinking on the same subject and exchanging our ideas on the theme, it's kind of like a task set more then a comp and there's not much of a task in sifting through archives, the more involved the more will be gained out of it.

Me too. I was guilty last month of entering an archive shot so will try hard to take a shot specifically for the shot. Although TBH I don't have any choice really as i don't think I have anything suitable in my archive!
