nex5n video

i used to video on my panasonic tz 10 and upload and edit to IMovie on IMAC. I was always impressed with quality.

Now have a nex5n . Upload to iMovie , but picture does not say wow ! as i expected. The photos on camera are stunning

WHat setting do you recommend , currently set at 50i 24m (FX)

Am i doing something wrong.

I think this may be a better question for the video section as I'm not very good with video modes either even though I have been trying to get into video more. Is there anything in particular you don't like about the video or just in general they don't seem that great?
