Following from a previous thread of mine to buy a new lens for my canon 400d, been trying to get hold of recommended camera guy Kerso (both email, and ebay message a seller) but still no joy yet.

In that respect can anyone recommend a reputable seller with competitive prices - either a e-retailer or direct seller.

After Canon EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM. Would consider 2nd hand tentatively. Would depend on price etc as normal. I am after new if possible to be covered by the guarantee.

mpb photography give u a 6 month guarantee on their 2nd hand lenses. i got a mint 100mm macro from them.

i'd also look at the highly respected tamron 17-50 2.8 and sigma 17-70 before you get the 17-85IS as the 17-85IS isn't the greatest lens. have a quick search on here

He's got various lenses through ebay for immediate delivery.
