ND filters

Cant really get out at night to try long exposures so can you advise a good ND filter to use please? Heard theres lots of levels but I have no idea whats best.

During daylight only one will do the job the B&W ND 110 imo. If this is the sort of thing your looking to do, it's the only filter that would do the job :

Have you seen this thread for ND on the cheap, you could experiment with different strengths of welding glass before spendning loads on a proper ND filter. Or you might find the glass does the job anyway. Either way worth a look,

Well worth a try this, can't loose really can you. I'd love to get the B&W 110 in 77m as I only have a 67mm version but the £80 it will cost is certaily putting me of at the minute.
