Recommendation for a Tripod

I currently have a cheap £20 jessops tripod which is ok and I fancied trying to get a decent one. I would really like one that is solid, light, folds away into a small space.

I did see this one in my local photo shop and it seems to do the ticket:

Vanguard Alta+ 204AP*
Vanguard GB
Amazon have it for £75 :
Vanguard Alta 204AP Tripod with PH-12 Panhead: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo

The above one is a 4-Section tripod which I like as it folds away very small.

Anyone recommend a smallish tripod that extends into a decent height tripod for around the £100ish mark ?

EDIT: Just seen this:
Manfrotto 785B Modo Maxi Tripod for £45 which looks neat:

Re: Recommendation for a Tripod

Or the RedSnapper 284 (4 section) tripod which folds up smaller, but is less sturdy than a 3 section tripod of course.

I have the 283 tripod and RSH 12 ballhead.

You could actually try doing a forum search as well. Amazing what this simple facility can throw out in terms of results.
