Crumpler bag for Canon 450D

Hi

I am looking at getting a bag for my Canon 450D.

I want something that will store my camera + kit lens, as well as a spare lens and maybe some filters etc.

I want to be able to store the camera with the kit lens attached that has quick and easy access. So that when I see a good photo op I can whip it straight out without too much messing.

I would also like to be able to store maybe a drink or bit of food or jumper so I am not carrying tons of bags with me.

I like the look of the crumpler bags as they don't look like camera bags and have been looking at the half and full back packs.

Does anyone have these? Are these recommended? They don't seem to allow you to store the camera with the kit lens ready to go seems to be the downside.

Crumpler Easy Weasy - Photo Bags - Get it at the Crumpler Online Shop
Crumpler Italian Connection - Photo Bags - Get it at the Crumpler Online Shop

I also looked at the Lowepro slingshot 200 and fastpack 200 but didnt like the slingshot as carrying it on the right shoulder felt stange as I always carry bags like that on my left shoulder. The fastpack seems good also, but looks a bit more like a camera bag.

£169 to carry a camera then see an opportunity and spend ages assembling your gear

I got this for ease of access
Lowepro Rezo 160 Shoulder Bag For Digital SLR & 1-2: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo

doesnt hold a jumper as well but lens always on

Thanks Cherokee, not quite the style of bag I am after but I think I agree with you that you need lens on for sure.

Re: Crumpler bag for Canon 450D

Have a look at here for reviews including some crumpler backpacks (probably not exact one you mention).

I have a crumpler shoulder bag (geekstar) and it's where my kit lives when not in use. Love crumpler products, nice design (as you say, doesn't look like a camera bag), tough (still looks like the day i got it) and the ability (at least in mine, think in the ones you want) to move the partitions allows you to make it exactly to your liking. bit expensive though.
