These settings will apply to JPEG, not RAW and will be seen in your review screen post processed as JPEG, so may appear on your laptop quite different if shooting RAW + JPEG but reviewing as RAW.
I thought a number of them were missing like Autumn, Sunset, Night, Sepia but there not there just hidden .. sort of once you know were to find them you can use them

I shot this with my A350 in A mode useing the creative suset option and in RAW then just saved it as a JPEG

No. These are presets. If you want to change them, press the Fn button and select the creative style option on the screen (left of the WB option) and make your adjustments there. Standard 1 gives you the most options. I stick with vivid +1, 0, +1 in A mode, otherwise it's the idiots guide on the control dial.

Under offer. Someone in the Russian Federation has a job lot of Zenit ex military grade lenses that cost 50p and is making a nice little earner.

I'm broke at the moment anyway... just bought a HVL-F36.

Cheers for the link though, I'll certainly keep an eye on Dyxum when I have some spare readies

Are you going to be OK with just the tilt action? What happens when you rotate the camera 90 degrees for portrait and no pan option on the flashgun?

Good luck with it.

It's for off-camera mate, can't see me having much use for it on the camera considering the type of photos I take (or don't take)

What about any firmware update for the A200?

Be interesting to see what the A850 is, A700 with a few more features? or a cut back A900 full-frame? They must surely add video, as everyone else is.

I really hope they don't!!

If people want video then they can buy one of the many Handycam's Sony produce.

Leave DSLR's for what they were originally intended for - Taking pictures!

I hope DSLR's are not going to end up like mobile phones (which were originally designed for making/receiving calls but now can do everything else badly!)

I don't see how £190 is that good a price? On eBay/TP they usually go for about £130-160 (Canon and Nikon mount). I know Sony mount second-hand prices are often slightly inflated but, £190 is only £35 off the OSD price new.

I'd agree if it had MLU and +/-2 EV AEB.

A200 is an entry level camera. If you want more features then you want the higher spec'd models.

One of the reasons why I upgraded to an A700 was because of the +/- 2 AEB as i like HDR.

Thats so funny, but everybody I talk to states exactly the same about Sigma lens caps.
It seems to drive people crazy how badly made they are and even a decent one must only cost a few pence to make.

Yes, except OSD don't do that lens in a Sony mount, so £245.00 is the average new in the UK. I thought a £55.00 off was a decent saving against the current retail (notwithstanding whatever you can get them for private or on the Bay).

I'm aware of that, but the A100 had MLU (and DoF Preview)... and similar models from other brands can do +/-2 AEB so I don't see why it couldn't have been implemented on the A200. Still, it's not like it's difficult to manually bracket so I see no need to upgrade just yet
