Any advice - Canon Digital IXUS 100 - Whats is like to use

Hi,
I'm a proud owner of a Canon EOS 400D, but its not the most pocket friendly thing.

Been looking for a small digital compact to be able to drop into my pocket for when I dont want to take 'proper' picces.

The specs of the IXUS 100 are fine for me in terms of pixels, optical zoom, size etc.

Just wanted to know if anyone has any real experience of it - is the battery life OK ? is it reliable ? is it slow taking consecutive shots ?

I'm after comparisons to other compacts and not the DSLR's. I've already pretty much decided on getting it, but just want to know its not a complete dog of a camera !!

Cheers,

Taposh
