Joe Cornish in Chelmsford

Went to an evening hosted by Joe Cornish last night hosted by Chelmsford Camera Club. Was a great night, he seems a really genuine and nice chap and he has some amazing stories and photo's.

The only thing I would have liked would have been a demonstration of his gear and how he sets up, the evening was spent mainly looking at old photographs, most of which were superb.

Were any other forum members there

How many times did he mention the poor reproduction of the overhead projector?

I was at one last week, and yes a splendid chap and quite some jaw dropping shots but I thought some of his newer stuff of roseberry topping etc were so so in terms of originality. Top quality though.

But hey what do I know?

Re: Joe Cornish in Chelmsford

At least a couple, yes I also thought that the last part was not quite as good as some of the others.

First time I had heard that vocal setting of Nimrod though (during the slideshow bit at the end)

Would still recommend the evening though.
