Canon zoombrowser wont read my pics from card reader

But it will take them straight from the camera when thats plugged in. I had an old card reader that wasn't working i figured it wasn't compatible with Vista, so i went and got a new one yesterday and its not working with zoombrowser either. I know its not the card reader as the files show up in my computer. But i want to download the pics through zoombrowser so i get the exif and have them stored etc.. in there usual for format.

The option to download images is not clickable when i click on it any ideas as to what the problem could be. Im using a 40D.

I have a slot in my laptop for my card and the zoombrowser reads from that ok.

Solved it in the end i downloaded a newer version of zoombrowzer version 6 i think, and it works fine now.
