450d problem

went to use my camera there and when i put the power on, the screen didnt light up. wen i tried to take a pic, the little figures in green in the viewfinder lit up, but when i tried to take a pic the little red light on bottom right of camera stayed on and no pic was taken...the battery indicator says its full (which thinking about it must be mince as i was playing with it a LOT yesterday and took about 500 pics in total).

im rehcxarging the battery now hoping thats the problem, does it sound like it?

even if so, why it the indicator not telling me the correct reading?

Re: 450d problem

just put charged battery back in and...nothing

error code 35 flashed up for a minute and then went away again

GRRR im wanting this to use tonight!!!

anyone know what the problem could be?

i have moved the mode to green rectangle but still nothing...

for some reason, sometimes when i look through viewfinder, the little green numbers are there, the countdown thing in the centre counts down, but just keeps trying to re-focus and doesnt take a picture

plus, the lcd screen NEVER comes on

anyone got any ideas? i really want this to be working for tonight

Re: 450d problem

all through the night it would cut off randomly. when i tried to put it on, sometimes it would flash up "error 99, can not shoot", sometimes it would say "error 35" in the viewfinder. it would almost always flash even though the display wouldnt come on and it wasnt actually taking a picture....

has anyone got any idea whats going on? could it be the battery, or the connection between the battery and the camera?

I have the same camera and not seen any error code yet and had no problems at all(touch wood) to me it sounds if you have a problem with it, I take it is still under guarantee if so take it back

Re: 450d problem

ive only had it since tuesday!

took about 150 pics before it started developing these problems and upon doing a search on amazon it seems it is a common one for this camera. im not impressed by that for a camera so new, so its getting returned for a refund. RAGING
