cheapest online camera stockist for canon 40d?

Been keeping my eye on the current situation and im aware that the canon cashback offer ends on the 12 th Jan which isnt too far away..
My aim was to have one before that time. Altho its very tempting to get the cheapest online. Ebay is not an option when spending so much for me.. dunno why just feel id feel better it was from at least a proper outfit..

Now Amazon at the moment are doing £755 just for the body which is great..
But i have found a few places on the net which i have never heard of selling them for far less with the lens kit, and these are all companys operating in the UK. Not that really makes any difference? Im right in saying that canon cameras need to be bought in the EU to be allowed for warrenty?
Is there any of the following 2 so far to stay clear off from other peoples experiences?

I know it seems like im rushing into it with the 60 cashback but i have wanted this camera since Oct 2008 and wouldnt mind the 50D altho i know its abit out of my price range.. i was hoping Jan sales would kick in sooner then later!

Cheapest they find for the 40D is £560.

I've used Park Cameras (which is one of the joint cheapest for that model) after finding a good price on there and had no issues with them. I've also used other stores that they've shown without issue too.

Hi thanks for your reply.. I can get the kit with the lens for around £610 + £60 cashback, but its the old story isnt it.. cheaper isnt always better in the long run if you get rodgered!

digialrev have it for £643 but i have been told mixed reviews on them.
Warehouse Express have it for more £750

but again not sure on people views on the websites service..

Any thought for these please??

There's loads of different prices. E.g this one:

ABC Digital Cameras 40d + 18-55m IS - £690.03

But you're best bet imo is sticking to a decent place you know will sort you out in case of any problems...

in the end i opted for Amazon as last friday/saturday it was £576 for just the body...
i go to order it tonight.. Its jumped up to £593.. yea.. what ever..

So i ended up ordering it from jessops and to collect it locally. Believe it or not i always thought they was really overpriced, but they was the cheapest online at the moment and reptuable enough then the likes of some internet ones you have no idea your gonna get or even if its gonna be a chinese model..
