NOKIA Enter DSLR Market

Got Ya!

No they haven't, but I did smile at my own suggestion :o)

BUT . . if they did, I wonder what they would come up with?

Web browsing on the rear LCD whilst listening to MP3's and taking shots at the same time? What about regular dSLR's? Why not incorporate a Wi-Fi connection to upload on the move?

C'mon people, let's have some fun with this . . . . It ought to be interesting until it drops off the lead page.

Offer a selection of arm attachments to enhance user control over image stabilisation.

Re: NOKIA Enter DSLR Market

Batteries will last 20 minutes...

And they will also allow digitial photography magazines to be read on the LCD as an E-Zine.

There will be the "Trigger Happy" edition for those of the comical kind, with a 200000mm zoom lens and a saucepan for a shutter button.

After numerous revisons the interface with be exactly the same.

You can be sure they will be called the DSLR3200, DSLR3300, DSLR6500 (etc just add more random model numbers)

With its built in phone, you just know when your about to get your once in a lifetime shot of an almost extinct animal that bloody annoying ringtone will go off and scare the animal away!

Re: NOKIA Enter DSLR Market

It will take about 10 attempts to autofocus, and then when it finally gives up you'll just be happy it has focused to infinity so at least the background will be in focus.

Then the compulsary flash, you forgot to turn off because it was burried so deep in a menu will misfire, the shutter speed will have been too low and you'll end up with a black photo.

This will be your life.

You'll also have to buy Nokia branded memory cards because it will be locked, and you'll have to pay £30 to get it unlocked by allowing some dodgey fellow in a corner shop to tinker with it.

But look on the bright side. Your six year old niece will want one because of the pink replacable case that's available.
