Lens Filter & Lens Cap

Does anyone know of any lens filters which allow you to fit a lens cap as well?

I'm thinking of getting a UV filter purely to protect my new SAL18250 lens but I want one that I can leave on 90% of the time, so it would need to allow a lens cap to be fitted while its still on?

Make sense? I have a Polarizing filter which doesn't allow this but that isn't a problem as it only goes on occasionally.

Thread is 62mm.

Thx!

Re: Lens Filter & Lens Cap

Maybe I've been lucky, but I have never had a filter that did not take a lens cap

Re: Lens Filter & Lens Cap

Figures with my luck I'd buy the only make which doesn't take a lens cap

Other question then, any recommendations for a decent UV filter for protection?

Re: Lens Filter & Lens Cap

Either Hoya or Cokin should be ok, but I am far from an expert on filters (or much else for that matter )
