Not unless it supports the 450D though.. However sending RAW files is not generally a god idea as they are large and the end view cannot manipilate them unless they have Lightroom or DPP as well
The DPP software that come with the 450D ( and all Canon DSLRs) is perfect for it
The RAW files are high quality big files uncompressed
The ability to turn them to minimally compressed jpegs reqiure

- The fact that even as Jpegs the file will be too big to email
If The Op want to send RAW files to his freind fro preview ( not a good idea) .
Cam 2 PC will open them
Raw files are uncompressed and with a little skill, the compressed Jpeg ones will look great]If space is not an Issue
Convert then to TiFFs ( which are also large but dot need RAW viewing software)
