2nd hand lenses

Anyone know if Jessops / Jacobs etc still buy 2nd hand gear?

Re: 2nd hand lenses

Not sure, but there are a few dealers on the web that do.

Are you selling some kit?

Jessops don't - Jacobs still have 2nd hand stuff in their windows so I am guessing they do

Re: 2nd hand lenses

Cheers.
Jacobs are the cheapest I've seen for the lens I want, so Part exchange will hopefully be easier than selling to a 3rd party. Just hope they offer a reasonable amount, unlike some of the other 2nd hand dealers online!

Re: 2nd hand lenses

I wouldnt bet on it, I contacted the Camera Exchange for part ex, I have a 400D and grip in mint condition bar a dusty focus screen (brand new replacement included) and they offered me £120 all in!

They claimed that they would sell a 400D + Grip in very good condition for £168 - if they did, id buy them all and make a good old profit on ebay! Sell it to someone on here instead of some miserable shop just looking to rip you off.

Oh and the best part? I was looking to part ex for a 40D, with the part ex they were still going to sell it me for £560!
