Lightroom 2 Plug-ins.

Had my first taste of plug-ins for lightroom 2 today.

First off I was after a way to watermark my pictures without going to photoshop or another program to batch it. After reading lots of moans about LR2's limited inclusion of this I found a great plugin that does it;

Timothy Armes Photography

This allows me to put a .png onto my images during the export process in lightroom very quickly and allows control over size, location etc. Streamlined my work flow a lot.

This may not be the best way to do it, but works for me.

Also discovered a plugin here;

Jeffrey Friedl’s Blog » Jeffrey’s “Export to Flickr” Lightroom Plugin

This allows direct export from lightroom to flickr again from the export process. Can set privacy settings from keywords, choose which set to add to, create sets and all sorts.

These might not be the best thing since sliced bread but will be very useful for me, and might be for someone else!

If any other LR2 user has some suggestions for plugins it'd be good to hear what people use.

Re: Lightroom 2 Plug-ins.

I use the export to smugmug plug-in.
Wish there there some noise reducing ones though.

Yes, nothing worse than a large nose spoiling your portrait work.
