Landscape Photographer of the year - got in the book & expo
Amazed! I got a "Commended" for my shot of a chap on West Wittering beach, and as a result it's in the book and the exhibition.
There's a selection of some shots in the Sunday Times mag today, and more info here. Anyone else here get in?
My pic was this one by the way

Well done Tobers. Mind I've seen some stronger landscapes from you.

Re: Landscape Photographer of the year - got in the book & expo
I know - it was not my first first choice. I submitted 10 and this was the last one I put in. Having seen some of the others that got commendations or category winners you can see the sort of thing they were after though.

Top work.
The dog shot won the £10k? Seriously?
The Humber bridge shot destroys that one.

Yep - £10k for the dog shot, though I've got to say I do like it. It has a certain quality to it that I like and I can see why they picked it I guess. I'm not sure how many winners & commended shots there are. I guess one overall winner, and one winner for each of the categories (5 of them??), then a bunch of commended ones like mine. Enough to fill a book I reckon.

Re: Landscape Photographer of the year - got in the book & expo
It's a nice enough shot - not convinced it's a winner though. There are some majestic shots there (love the gardening one as well).

Re: Landscape Photographer of the year - got in the book & expo
Congrats Tobers
You may not be mad on the picture yourself but I love it. It has a timeless quality to it and I love the composition and framing.
Well deserved I reckon.
