Spider Web Dew Drops

Seen some great pics over the past few days from the weekend shoots of webs and dew drops, well, it seems I had the same idea on Sunday and armed with a new piece of equipment, namely a Sigma 105mm DG Macro, I decided to get out and about.

Still learning this as my first efforts with a proper macro lens, so trying to get to grips with composition, angles, depth of field and general use. Therefore, all C&C more than welcome to help the steep learning curve.

These were shot around a local reservoir which is a 2.5 mile walk, it wasn't until I got around the other side that I realised that the focussing ring on the lens was set to manual, although the camera was in AF mode so unsure what gives with that at this early stage tbh.

Anyways...the pics...they look far better imho at full size so feel free to check out my Flickr page for those
