Question No Photos of my trip back to the UK this week

Well actually there aren't any as I didn't have room for the camera due to having to take other stuff because we are moving back to the south coast soon.
Anyway, I got into digital photography a few months back while here in Spain and I have to say it is amazing what you take for granted when not taking part in this hobby (or profession).
I never really noticed what was around me last time I was in the UK, the new forest was full of birds, horses and their foals, birds were everywhere and there were plenty of candidates for my favourite type of photography .. macro.

It really is quite amazing what passes you by if you don't take any notice.

Anyway, rambling over.

AH! that explains why it has been so peaceful here!

I have to agree with the point you make about seeing much more after getting into photography.

You'll be spoilt for choice with macro subjects on the south coast.
Up here there's a lot less on offer.
Hope your move goes well

Know exactly what you mean , last Wed at 8pm I was sat in my car on a quiet estate talking to a pupil and a badger came within 5 meters of the car , no camera so I quickly got the phone cam on and took a shot .
All I got was a shape in the darknes , def going to look at keeping some sort of compact in the car.
I generally have the camcorder running in the daytime lessons but not really suitable at night when usually wildlife more active.
It was a plus for this girl has she had never seen a badger in the wild.
