Hot pixels, is it serious?

In the spirit of me not being a whiny pillock and helping myself to get help here I go.

The past batch of images from my Alpha I've noticed a hot pixel. As I progressed through them on some images there were 3.

They were all shot at ISO 200 - 800, aperture priority, approx f5 to f11 ish.

Now, I cloned these out, so no biggie, but, is this a more serious issue? Not meaning to be hugely paranoid here!

It's not a 'big' issue, it's not an indicator of problems to come, just something that sensors can pick up... more likely now with the many-megapixel cameras we have. I found it very irritating on my SLR when I got some as cloning it out on every photo is a real pain, so I had the sensor 'remapped' under warranty and now it's minty fresh again.

How old was the camera when you had it remapped?

It was a few weeks off it's first birthday, but I'd noticed hot pixels on it about six months ago... strangely though they cleared up by themselves the first time. Maybe I shook it like an etch-a-sketch...

Bugger, I'm about 6 months over.

Clone tool it is then.

cameraRAW in Photoshop does it pretty good job of clearing hot pixels, they continue to appear as the sensor ages.
