4 odd shots

Went shopping to Lakeside on Friday night as I was busy all weekend playing bowls, popped into IKEA and as we came out walked under the big banners they have, liked the contrast, apart from cropping and bit of USM (oh, and removing a light that was in the wrong place) this is how it came out of the camera - at 2000 ISO.

1

2 - We were bought some flowers the other day, one of them was this odd ball thing - is it an actual flower ?

3 - These were outside the bowls club - Gazainias ?

4 - After a hard game, cropped and USM (plus usual border) but as it came out of the camera

C & C always welcome.

Bill

You get beer out of your camera?

I like the composition of the shots, but I would have cropped the flowers to isolate the main two and the fly. Also I would have cropped the beer shot to remove the pen.

Re: 4 odd shots

Havingdragged myself around Cardiff Ikea myself today (with a hangover) - the flag shot was the last thing I wanted to see!

However, it is a standout shot in this set. Nice contrast. Might be nice to go back and shoot the same scene on a day with blue sky and some fluffy white clouds.

Re: 4 odd shots

No.1 for me also, really like the way the flags stand out from the background.

Like no 1 a lot

Was it a haunted pub you were at?, that pint is headless probably lost it on the trip South.

Re: 4 odd shots

Was not haunted - was my bowls club.

Took the Ikea shot virtually on the run as I was worried I might get chased by security guards.
