Hi there,
OK I've now watched the OneLight DVD's.
I'm very impressed with the quality of the DVD's, very professional. I would say that after watching the videos, Zack is more of an artist than technical.
To that end, Zack has the eye and the experience to know what will work and how to get there. It's not a technical DVD at all, so if you were hoping to understand one of the technical sides it's not for you.
The main part of the DVD's go on location with Zack with different photo shoots, and you see how he works in the field. I found this very informative, but the one point that he gets across is that it's experience and trying different things out that will get you results, rather than hoping a 2x DVD boxset will make you into a pro overnight.
I'd be pretty pleased if I'd bought the DVD's to be honest, and will ask to borrow them again once I've had some more experience doing this myself.
I've ordered the boxset of the Strobist DVD's, which I think will be more technical. It's also 6 or 8 DVD's, so will take some watching
