Hello there
Just got this. Mallard duck photo
I'd like to use one of your photos for an Adopt-A-Unit project in Texas. The photo will not be used for fund raising or sale. We want to put it on some box labels/stickers that will be shipped to troops in Iraq during their deplyment. Do you mind, if we use the photo?

Have sent a reply back asking which picture is it.
What do you lot think?
Cheers Holo

| I think you're ducking the real issue...it's all very well swanning on here and giving advice but Hollo will have to swallow the fact he's not getting paid...if he grants permission does it mean he's gull-able?
Sorry to crow on...

Swiftly avoiding any bird puns (nearly ) there is something a bit strange about this. Are they expecting the troops in Iraq to "adopt a unit", whatever a unit is? I am just wondering what type of photos Holow has been taking that would appeal to battle weary, homesick troops. If indeed it is a picture of a bird I doubt if it is of the feathered kind.
Go for it mate, but if you can get a few bob in the process then all the better.

I'm assuming the people who are wanting to use it have adopted a unit in Iraq whereby they then send them cards, gifts, letters etc to help keep spirits up.
That's how I took it when I read it anyway, whilst I was puffin away on a cig. (tenuous I know but it's the best I could do).
