White Tailed Sea Eagle - In Flight Shots

Out again today whilst there was a break in the rain and managed a few more shots of the Sea Eagles again, I say Eagles because there were two today, probably not as good as the ones from the previous post but thought I'd show him in flight anyway, still very poor light, sun disappeared about 5 minutes after leaving the house and it then hammered down with rain as we left .

Re: White Tailed Sea Eagle - In Flight Shots

Stunning. Are you using AF when they fly? I tried some of this at a game fair when there were tame ones flying around and found it incredibly hard, especially with the falcons what were so quick!

Re: White Tailed Sea Eagle - In Flight Shots

#4 is another stunning shot. Love the position of the wings and the way you can see his feet tucked up under the tail feathers.
Great captures.

Wow,

Great shots, number 4 & 6 are my favorites. I would love to have a go at bird photography.

Well done

Re: White Tailed Sea Eagle - In Flight Shots

Lovely shots, like #6 best.

Re Jeremy's post, I would also be interested to know whether you used manual or auto focussing.

Are the eagles round about Tentsmuir? The media reports that I saw just said Fife, not where in Fife.
