After sending my Nikon D80 off to Nikon for pixel remapping after it developed a bright red pixel I finally got it back today. It seemed forever that it had been away but fortunately since I've been stuck in the house with an ear infection while it's been away I've not really missed many photo opportunities.
I christened it's return by taking it to the lake in the park in town. Had to use the handy railings to lean the camera on as my balance is still a bit screwy (and may be for the next month or so!

) and the dim light meant that I had to use ISO640 to get high enough shutter speeds, but I'm pretty pleased with these:
I 'nearly' got a shot of two canada geese in flight but by the time I'd switched on the camera and turned to frame them they'd disappeared behind a load of trees. Ah well.
