Devonshire Green - Graffiti, Bikes and Skateboards

On Sunday evening I went to the skate park at Devonshire Green in Sheffield to take some photos of the skaters and bikers performing their tricks in an "urban" environment. I've entered one of the shots into the photo comp here but I thought I'd share some of the rest here for C&C. Anyway, let me know what you think of them...

1. Jump

2. Wider

3. Graffiti

4. Teenagers

5. The wide view

6. Teenage Kicks

Decent set Simon, I think the last is the best as it has the most action, this along with the first two, of which I prefer the narrower shot as the wider shot could almost be two pictures with the near central line of the 'berm'. The middle three lack something for me but I can't put my finger on quite what it is, maybe they are a little staid compared to the others.

Thanks Steve. I have to say that to start off I was finding it difficult to get motivated when I first got to the park. I then spotted the "cockmaster innit" graffiti and the tried to crudely juxtapose it with the bikers but I guess they don't really work.Oh well, I got my comp entry out it so it was worth the time to do the shoot.

Re: Devonshire Green - Graffiti, Bikes and Skateboards

I'd missed the fact that that was quite prominent in 5 of the 6 photos
